Goldfield & Banks began with a journey. French-Belgian fragrance expert Dimitri Weber arrived in Australia and found himself captivated by a landscape that felt endlessly aromatic: lush native botanicals, turquoise coasts, sunlit forests, and ochre-red country stretching to the horizon. What struck him most was not only the beauty, but the rarity of the ingredients. Australia held extraordinary essences that modern fine fragrance had barely touched.
From that discovery, Goldfield & Banks was born as Australia’s premier luxury perfume house. The vision was clear: to honour this land through a gender-free collection that pairs native Australian botanicals with French perfumery savoir-faire. Each eau de parfum is crafted to be transportive and refined, a scent that carries you into place and feeling at once. Rooted in exploration, craftsmanship, and the poetry of nature, Goldfield & Banks distils the botanical richness and cultural depth of Australia into modern luxury fragrance, an authentic expression of the Essence of Australia.

Founder and Creative Director of Goldfield & Banks, Dimitri Weber is the visionary behind Australia’s first luxury fragrance house. With a background in international fragrance development and a passion for olfactory storytelling, he brings French savoir faire to the raw, untamed beauty of Australian botanicals. His creations are known for their meticulous craftsmanship and their ability to capture both place and emotion, fragrances that celebrate elegance and adventure while distilling the sensory spirit of the land.

Traceability
Since 2016, we’ve built long-standing relationships with Australia’s most respected growers and distillers. We source only high-grade essential oils with full traceability, from field to extraction to final blend. This level of provenance allows us to honour every harvest and work with complete transparency, including detailed knowledge of where, how, and when each crop was grown and distilled.
Among the native oils central to the house are Australian Sandalwood, Buddha Wood, Brown Boronia, Blue Cypress, and Golden Wattle. These are complemented by exceptional botanicals introduced to Australia’s climate, including Lavender and Agarwood.
All Goldfield & Banks perfumes are cruelty free, vegan, and compliant with the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) standards. Our fragrances are diluted in organic beetroot alcohol, a cleaner, modern alternative we were among the first to adopt.
*Silky Woods and Velvet Splendour are not vegan, as they contain organic beeswax.
